1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
Logistics and supply chain management are now firmly established as critical business concerns. Many companies have appointed Directors and Vice-Presidents, who are responsible for ensuring the cost-effective operation of the “end-to-end pipeline” that links the supply side of the business with the end market.
This course introduces and equips students with general knowledge about logistics, the supply chain and competitive strategy, measuring logistics cost and performance, managing the global supply chain, and the supply chain of the future. The course makes students a chance to understand the roles of logistics and supply chain management in practice. Students understand the current situation in logistics and supply chain management through field trip and seminar with expert.
