1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

The module equips students with basic knowledge and practical understanding of non-tariff measures in international trade. Specific contents include: quantitative restrictions, technical measures (technical barriers, sanitary and phytosanitary measures), contingent trade measures (anti-dumping of goods, anti-subsidy, safeguard in trade), and other measures under the provisions of WTO and UNCTAD. Base on that, graduates working in businesses could find solutions to overcome non-tariff barriers in international trade.

Học phần cung cấp cho sinh viên kiến thức: 

- Về ngôn ngữ chuyên ngành: Kiến thức chuyên ngành trong lĩnh vực Tiếng Anh Thương Mại, kỹ năng viết thư, phong cách viết thư tín thương mại và viết một số loại thư phổ biến trong giao dịch buôn bán như: thư hỏi hàng, thư chào hàng, báo giá, thư đặt hàng, thư thanh toán, thư khiếu nại, sơ yếu lý lịch và thư xin việc bằng Tiếng Anh

1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course is designed to provide students with foundation knowledge in investments. This includes basic concepts, theories, applications and decision-making rules in financial investments. Principally, the main focus of the course are laid on the analysis of stocks, bonds, options and other derivative securities. In fulfillment of the course, students should be aware of investment management in preparation for careers in financial analysis, financial planning, investment banking, portfolio management, and corporate finance. Some of the topics covered in this course are also available in the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Level I examinations, such as quantity, equity, fixed income and portfolio management.

1. COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course aims to equip students with basic knowledge related to public policy and professional practice of policy analysis. The course examines fundamental questions in public policy such as what are the reasons for public sector intervention? What are the limits of collective action? What are the tools of public policy? How to measure social benefits and costs? What are the appropriate roles for policy analysts? The course also helps learners improve their analytical thinking, basic skills, information gathering skills and writing skills when finding the answers for the above questions.

 1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This module provides undergraduate students in different majors with fundamental legal knowledge, constitutes the foundations for other modules on law and covers legal theories; origins, essences of states and laws, features of states and laws in slave possession, feudal, capitalist and socialist periods; basic notions in socialist legal systems (legal systems, legal regimes, legal norms, legal relations…). In addition, this module also equips undergraduate students with basic insights into the constitutional law, the civil law (civil legal relations, ownership, civil obligations and civil contracts…), and criminal law in Vietnam; legal relations among parties governed by public international law and private international law and the economic analysis of law.
