1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
The module equips students with basic knowledge and practical understanding of non-tariff measures in international trade. Specific contents include: quantitative restrictions, technical measures (technical barriers, sanitary and phytosanitary measures), contingent trade measures (anti-dumping of goods, anti-subsidy, safeguard in trade), and other measures under the provisions of WTO and UNCTAD. Base on that, graduates working in businesses could find solutions to overcome non-tariff barriers in international trade.
