1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course provides application methods in managing personal finance, ranging from personal finance planning to personal finance decision-making. It equips learners with fundamentals of applied personal finance, using some personal finance applications and skills necessary in planning, managing such basic personal assets as cash, deposits, automobile or real asset purchasing, personal credit managing, consumer loans managing ... This course also provides understanding regarding life insurances, healthcare insurance, automobile or house insurances... which support learners in planning their future personal finance. Besides, the course introduces some investment methods, such as: equities, fixed – income securities, real estates and practice using some applications, so that learners can apply to make personal finance decisions. Finally, learners will be educated to make a retirement plan and manage their personal income plan, personal assets after retirement.

1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This is an undergraduate level course designed to prepare students to be a financial risk manager in banks, corporations or other institutions. Through chapters, case analyses, and discussions we will explore issues related to the uses and the valuation of the main derivative financial instruments: forward, futures, swaps and options. 1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will equip students with basic knowledge of taxation (the development history of taxes in the world and in Vietnam, the concept of taxation, elements of taxation and principles of taxation...).

The course includes 2 main parts:

  • A general introduction in taxation that studies the causes and developments of taxation as well as the basic issues of taxation such as the nature, functions and roles of taxation, how to classify taxation and what are factors making of a tax code.
  • A study of current tax system in Vietnam that focus on the main and international trade – related tax codes, includingVAT, excise tax, import-export duty, PIT and CIT. Besides, there is also a brief introduction of other tax codes and fee in the current system in Vietnam.

1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

 

- CO1: This course provides students the most fundamentals of audit regulatory and framework related to the concept of audit & assurance and the functions of audit, corporate governance including ethics and professional conduct;

- CO2: This course will focus on identifying and assess the risk of material misstatement of the entity and how the auditor plan an audit of the financial statements;

- CO3: This course helps students to use English (in general and English for auditing in particular) fluently and improve practical skills;

- CO4: This course provides students with the capabilities of self-studying, working independently, and well adapting to change.
