1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
The mid-term Internship is an annual and compulsory activity for all full-time students at Foreign Trade University. This module will equip students the capacity to describe the current situation of the practical problem; investigate the shortcomings/limitations that need to be solved for the case of an internship organization; propose solutions to solve these shortcomings/limitations. Students will have the chance to gain experiences after the internship, following by continuing to accumulate the knowledge and skills during their next study phase at the University. The internship will take place in 5 weeks. Students are allowed to choose a practical topic related to the internship organization, and the topic should be presented in an internship report (written in English). The content of the report must be in accordance with the major in banking and international finance, under the guidance of scientific instructors and/or mentors from the internship organization.
2. COURSE CONTENT
The course is designed for 5 weeks of internship or 200 hours of internship, when students finish 2 years of study or accumulate at least 45 credits. In case students are accepted to practice at organizations and enterprises that have signed cooperation agreements with Foreign Trade University or the Faculty of Banking and Finance for a period different from the mid-term internship period prescribed by the University, students can make an application to the Faculty of Banking and Finance and the Department of Undergraduate Studies to apply for an internship in the middle of the course. If agreed, the Faculty of Banking and Finance will appoint teachers to guide and evaluate students according to regulations.

3. COURSE ASSESSMENT

- Assessment Criteria:
- Format: The length of the assignment is from 30 to 50 A4 pages, presented on A4 paper size; font size: 14; Times New Roman font; the sizes of the top, bottom, left and right margins are 2.5cm, 2.5cm, 3.5cm, 2cm respectively; 1.5 lines stretch.
- Content: The internship report contains appropriated content to the program major; it must be concise, clear, having scientific and practical value; Reference documents should be authentic, consistent, and presented in accordance with the regulations.
