1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is the final module of the program. During the module, under the supervision of instructor(s), students apply the knowledge and skills acquired from all modules in the program to complete an in-depth study of LSCM. Students can choose to do research with academic content or practical content of an organization/ business, depending on the discussion with the instructor(s).
Each student will have at least one instructor. The module is completed in a period of 15 weeks. The research project is graded by a panel.
2. COURSE SCHEDULE
The course is designed for 15 weeks of internship and report writing. Specifically, students must spend 400 hours work at company/ organization to solve some real problems in businesses or organizations;
After checking all the prerequisites, students will register for research areas with the School. The School will assign the instructor(s) (academics and/or industry experts) for students to complete the graduation research project.
The process of working with instructor(s) is as follows:
- The instructors arrange work schedule
- Discuss the research topic (the students can re-register the research topic with the School)
- The instructors give in-depth guideline on research methods
- The instructor(s) give guideline on how to build a research/ project proposal, how to find and read materials, etc….
- Students find materials, write, and discuss with the instructor(s) to complete the project report.
- Students take approval from the instructor for the final report version.
- Students have to print out 3 copies in order to submit to the School.
- Students have to defense their research project to the panel (with participation of relevant academic(s) and/or industry expert(s)). The instructor(s) of one student cannot participate in the student’s panel.
The instructor is assigned by the School of Economic and International business, will have at least 6 working sessions with the student, according to the schedule and the following contents:
