1. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The course aims to equip students with some basic knowledge related to management issues in the era of digital transformation with rapid structural changes shaped by advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, everything connected, 5G... This change is accompanied by linking virtual space with physical space, bringing new potentials for economic growth, while also bringing social problems new and ultimately have a profound impact on people's lives. Virtual space has become too complex to capture in the traditional ways in physical space. Existing regulatory mechanisms have not been properly designed to address these issues. The law can no longer identify the risks that need to be controlled when technology and business models change so rapidly. Current market rules are not capable of overcoming the problem of information asymmetry between digital platforms and users to ensure a fair competitive environment in the digital space. The module discusses and suggests how redesigning technology, legislation and markets can manage growing risks and maximize innovation.
