- COURSE OBJECTIVES
This module provides undergraduate students in different majors with fundamental legal knowledge, constitutes the foundations for other modules on law and covers legal theories; origins, essences of states and laws, features of states and laws in slave possession, feudal, capitalist and socialist periods; basic notions in socialist legal systems (legal systems, legal regimes, legal norms, legal relations…). In addition, this module also equips undergraduate students with basic insights into the constitutional law, the civil law (civil legal relations, ownership, civil obligations and civil contracts…), and criminal law in Vietnam; legal relations among parties governed by public international law and private international law and the economic analysis of law.
