1.COURSE DESCRIPTION

Human Resource Management (HRM) is one of the most important areas for the business. It is well said that Man, Material and Money are three resources of the management. However, people management is the most difficult among them because people have own emotion, heart, idea, will and motivation, which are not easily controlled by the others. On the other hand, the productivity in the organization will increase when people are motivated. This is why we have to study the people’s behavior in organization, how to connect the both strategy of business and human resources, and how to implement the each HRM activates such as recruitment, development, evaluation, reward.

This course guides student for three main topics; general HRM theory, Japanese unique HRM system, and Vietnamese HRM. It is interesting that there is not only one best HRM in the real business, because each country or each company develops its own HRM to fit own culture and strategy. It might be valuable for student to lean Japanese HRM which is based on the long-term vision; however, each Vietnamese student have to consider how to implement it into own society by oneself.
