1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course is aimed at acquiring the basic level of knowledge about the blockchain technology and its business applications. Students will study how blockchain facilitates enterprises in different areas: funding, management, value creation and monetization, supply chains. In this course student will learn what blockchain is and how it can create value by tokenization in cryptocurrencies and in many other practical applications. The applications include: stablecoins, machine to machine payments, identity protection, supply chain management, secure voting, distributed exchanges, decentralized finance, property transfers, central bank fiat crypto, dispensing prescription drugs, private records, intellectual property, financial reporting, and media and advertising, to name a few.  

The goals of the course are to: 

  1. provide an advanced understanding of the various blockchain technologies; 
  2. determine the specific business situations where blockchain technology can be deployed to solve important problems; 
  3. select the specific blockchain technology that has the best chance of success for a particular problem; and 
  4. detail the risks presented by this new technology.

The typical structure of a report should be as followed

  1. Provide a brief introduction to the organization
  2. Describe the selected topic
  3. The issues/problem should then be considered and analysed in terms of materials drawn from topics studied as part of this subject
  4. Design an intervention (a change program or set of activities and procedures utilizing some aspects of your analysis. The intervention should be intended to solve or improve the situation

1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course covers the principles of the agile methodology and applies those principles to project management. The course introduces the principles of Agile Project Management and covers the frameworks and practices used by agile teams. Innovative ways of gathering requirements, estimation, release planning, performance metrics, and scaling are covered with the Agile Manifesto in mind. 1. MODULE DESCRIPTION

The objective of this course is to develop the student’s critical ability and the student’s ability to independently undertake and solve a business problem using scientific methods.   • Assignment 3:

 

Task: In a groups, students will have to prepare a written report and present their assigned long case study (The case company was experiencing the problem presented dealing with several issues (presentation topics). 

Students will then analyze explain how this specific problem relates to the concept covered in the course, and finally build recommendations on how to solve the problem.

The typical structure of a report should be as followed

  1. Provide a brief introduction to the organization
  2. Describe the selected topic
  3. The issues/problem should then be considered and analysed in terms of materials drawn from topics studied as part of this subject
  4. Design an intervention (a change program or set of activities and procedure utilizing some aspects of your analysis. The intervention should be intended to solve or improve the situation
