1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This module addresses topics that are important for managing banking institutions in a rapidly changing international environment. The module examines the identification, measurement, monitoring and control of different types of risk within commercial banks. Most topics focus on providing economic rationales for risk management and analyzing the methods to assess risk in banking institutions, the techniques banks use modify and reshape risks, discuss and debate recent events concerning banking institutions and their implications.

This course introduces portfolio theories and tools that are used while managing a portfolio. 1. COUSE OBJECTIVES

Fintech are innovations in the financial industry involving technology-backed business models that facilitate the revolution of the financial industry in general and companies operating in financial industry in particular.

The course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge about Fintech: What is technology in finance?; areas of business where finance can be combined with technology. The course also covers the basics of technology's impact on traditional banking and finance. Students also have access to basic concepts and knowledge of Fintech in the fields of payments and deposits; borrowing and lending (digital lending); How can Fintech improves the operations of traditional commercial banks?; the concept of crowdfunding. Students also have an overview of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as the application of these technologies in the modern banking and finance sector. 1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

Information technology (IT) is the backbone of Banking and Finance activities. Therefore, Finance - Banking has always been one of the leading industries in the application of information technology in operation and management. Technology is applied in most of the banking services such as payment, transaction, money transfer... as well as used in investment analysis, automated advice, and risk management of the bank and companies in the financial sector in general.

1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

The Internship 3 program provides students opportunities to continue enhancing skills and apply the knowledge they are learning in their coursework to solve a selected problem in the internship organization.  Students benefit from both practical and professional experiences to remain competitive when seeking employment after graduation. Students are expected to complete the internship report within 26 weeks. The content of the internship  report must be  in accordance with the major of Banking and Finance, conducted in English and under the guidance of the supervisor and/or the mentor.

- Format: The length of the Internship 3 report is 40 A4 pages +/- 10%,

The grade of the final report will be scaled based on the level of satisfaction of the following criteria:
