  1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

The theme of this course is for each student to consider and understand themselves and others within the reference of being a FTU student.  Through the course, students will learn about university education, the relationship between themselves and society, lifestyles, ways of work, and university life.  It is hoped that this knowledge, students will become motivated to take action to fulfill their life goals.  

Students will learn about the history and spirit of FTU.  After that students will be placed in groups of 60 to 80 students to discuss topics such as, "My Strengths", "What kind of people does society want today?", "What kind of academic study is wanted in society today?" as well as other topics.  Topics essential to the students when the graduate and enter society will be introduced and student will participate in considering and learning about these themes through assignments, group discussions, and presentations.  For support purposes, students will take the University Students' Fundamental Report, and the students will learn about themselves through the results of this test.
