1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course introduces portfolio theories and tools that are used while managing a portfolio. After finishing this course, students have the knowledge on portfolio management process, investment objective setting, investment policy determination, risk and return projection, portfolio designing, asset allocation, security selection, portfolio  monitoring, adjustment and evaluation. Students will know how to apply the theories into managing portfolios of different assets like stock, bond and derivative securities.
