1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course is designed for students to understand risks and rewards associated with investing and financing both residential and commercial real estate. The course provides students a deep understanding of concepts, principles and theories relating to investing and financing real estate. These include investing, development financing, appraising, managing real estate portfolios, leasing, managing property, analyzing site locations. The course also helps students learn how to understand these factors, so that they can perform the right kind of analysis and make informed real estate finance and investment decisions.
