1. COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Furthermore, it provides wide range applications of statistics in business administration activities. It will equip you with the basic tools needed for such problem – solving and decision making tasks. This course is NOT about the mathematical underpinnings of different statistical techniques. Rather it is about collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting the results. As such, this course will not make you a statistician or a mathematician. Rather, it will give the foundations for making informed managerial decisions.
