1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course aims to provide students theories and policies of digitalization in open economies. The characteristics of networks, IT services and digital goods, recent developments in the segments will be presented. In addition, this course refers to the macroeconomic and microeconomic aspects of networks; impact of digitization on the productivity, market structure in the digital technology industries. In addition, the course will provide students with policy tools to analyze digitalization issues in the context of regional and international integration.
