1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

The module provides knowledge and skills about social business models and how to funding for implementation of projects. Students will be provided with the knowledge and skills to build and deploy business models in practice. In addition, the module helps students understand how to approach stakeholders and community resources in the social business ecosystem to raise capital and develop business models.

* Attendance:

- Attend class, complete assignments and express opinions in class: 10 points

* Mid-term test:

- Format: Group exercises and presentations

-   Content:

+ 01 presentation of the idea of building a project communication website (project name, product, logo, slogan, core values, vision & mission, crowdfunding, links to the project's advertising channel. project…): 10% of the total midterm mark

+ 01 video up to 3 minutes on social business solutions: 25% of total midterm score

+ 01 video up to 2 minutes about sample products/services (Prototype): 25% of total midterm score

+ Present 01 video up to 10 minutes pitchdeck BMC business model: 40% of total midterm score

  • Presentation Section

+ The group presents coherently, refines words and gives clear and complete answers: 3 points

  • Writing part:

+ Setting the problem: Define the problem clearly and logically: 2 points

+ Analysis: Logical and extensive analysis with examples of practical problems: 2 points

+ Reference: Using a variety of reference sources: 1 point

+ Language: Clear, selective, accurate: 1 point

+ Creativity in presentation: 1 point

*Bonus point

  • Correctly answering questions in class will be awarded a bonus point of 0.2 pts in the mid term or 0.1 in the final test
