1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course aims to:

2.1 Provide learners with knowledge relating to the efficient allocation of scare productive resources and to their sustained growth over time;

2.2 Provide learners with knowledge of economic, social, political and institutional mechanisms to generate rapid and large-scale improvements in the levels of living for the people in developing countries;

2.3 Equip learners with presenting, team-working and analyzing skills when dealing with development issues confronting developing countries.

2.4 Equip learners with ability to solve development problems in poor countries and initiate activities for sustainable and inclusive development of community.
