1. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Introduction of Management Science aims to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge relating to corporate and organisation management from the perspective of managers in international business. Upon completing this course, students can apply fundamental and practical  knowledge using scientific tools and artistic creation in business management under corporate and organisation levels, precisely implement business strategies, design business models, adapt to compete and stimulate growth for corporations on a global scale, analysing skills and  critical decision-making skills. Introduction of Management Science Course equips students with knowledge, skills and attitudes as future managers with the following fundamental principles: (1) Researching and analysing external and internal factors relating to business activities of corporations, thereby implementing and enforcing strategies, plans, business objectives and competencies (2) Applying scientific principles and economic models to determine and deploy business strategies on the basis of cost-benefit analysis (3) Developing and maximising factor endowments especially human resources with the purpose of sustainable development (4) Analysing the effectiveness of R&D activities, innovating and creating to adapt with business fluctuations. This course synthesises theoretical and practical issues about organisational business management in order to interpret business decisions
