1. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The course equips students with theoretical background, practical skills, analytical ability, assessment of business activities from the perspective of joining the global value chain of Vietnamese and world businesses.
After completing the coursework, students can apply basic knowledge and skills of international business practice, national competitive advantage and globalization to analyze and evaluate principles, models, strategies and methods of organizing value chains on a global scale.
The course equips students with knowledge, skills and attitudes as entrepreneurs in a global environment with these basic contents: (1) Research and analyze business environment factors, thereby formulating and implementing strategies, plans, business objectives and competitiveness to join the global value chain (2) Applying scientific principles and economic models in the planning and implementation of activities to participate in the global value chain (3) Develop and optimize resources to enhance international competitiveness (4) Being innovative and creative to engage extensively in the global value chain. The course uses a variety of practical situations about business management activities of enterprises and organizations to clarify theoretical and practical issues of business activities for the development of firms.
