- COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to equip students with basic knowledge related to public policy and professional practice of policy analysis. The course examines fundamental questions in public policy such as what are the reasons for public sector intervention? What are the limits of collective action? What are the tools of public policy? How to measure social benefits and costs? What are the appropriate roles for policy analysts? The course also helps learners improve their analytical thinking, basic skills, information gathering skills and writing skills when finding the answers for the above questions.
