Course title: Econometrics
Course code: KTEE309
Faculty: International Economics
Department: Research Methodology and Economic Forecasting
Credit hours: 3
Prerequite(s): Not required
- 1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course aims to equip students with knowledge and skills in quantitative research to analyze economic and social issues. After completing this course, students know how to conduct quantitative research such as building a linear regression model, finding data, estimating the model, detecting model problems, testing statistical hypotheses, interpreting results, making predictions based on regression results, and make policy recommendations based on regression results. This course also equips students with skills in using statistical software for descriptive statistical analysis as well as estimation of regression models.
