Course code: TMAE328
Department: International Trade - School of Economics and International Business
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisite(s): KTEE201, KTEE203
- COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course provides students with basic knowledge of international trade and quantitative economic methods for analyzing international trade policy. Trade data and input-output tables are introduced and used to examine trade patterns and review the various theories behind why countries trade. Students will then learn how to use a global applied general equilibrium model to examine the impact of trade policies. Based on that, the course initially helps students to study and analyze issues related to trade policy of nations and trade policy of Vietnam compared with international regulations and commitments on international trade.
