- 1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
Design thinking is a powerful approach to new product development that begins with understanding unmet customer needs. It’s a human-centered design process that approaches problem-solving with understanding the user needs. It is argued to develop the creative potential of individuals and enable them to deal with wicked problems. This course aims at introducing students to design thinking. This course aims to introduce students to design thinking. Students will be provided with the knowledge and tools to apply design thinking to solve problems in businesses, organizations or self-employment. The course includes project implementation, case study and small practical exercises to hone the knowledge, skills and experience so that students can keep up with the requirements of the labor market.

In addition, lecturers can encourage students through bonus points for those who perform well in class. However, the bonus point should not be more than 01 point of the mid-term assessment. |
