1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will increase your proficiency in a wide range of growth and development as you learn the growth theories and empirical evidence in development of countries in the world. A deep understanding of the development process will create a positive impact on your awareness of development policies. The emphasis in this course will be learning how economic growth leads to development in individual cases. Thereby, the student could analyze and evaluate the development process of a country and its government’s development policy.
