1. COURSE DESCRIPTION

Culture in business is a subject that provides students with knowledge and skills related to the cultural aspect of each component of business, especially international business when there is a cultural cross-cultural interaction. The course focuses on the study of theories of culture and its presence in various aspects of business activity.

The course is designed to balance between the goal of providing basic theoretical knowledge, as well as research goals at higher levels of study in Vietnam and around the world. The objective of the course is to help students understand the importance of culture in business and apply the learned knowledge to solve specific situations and business activities both at home and abroad.

Group work & presentation

- Joining in all group work (a report assessing how and at which level each member contributes to group work, will be required); 

- Studying the content and relevant knowledge of the topic; 

 

Presentation: presentation time 20-25 minutes/group. Presenting less or more will be deducted 10% of the total score.

- Costumes: polite, formal. A presentation without paper or other devices.

- Group report: The article presents the contents related to the presentation topic. Newspapers are presented on A4 paper size; formatted as required in the 1660 Decree of FTU.

- The report is about 10-15 pages long

-Presentation:

  • Good presentation content: 5 points

Good presentation skills: 3 points

  • Well prepared slides 1 point
  • Time control: 1 point
